Once there was a woman made of fire & light & the smell of rain (& for some strange reason, cherry blossoms in the first days of spring) & many people could not hold all of those things at once & wanted her to pick just one & she ignored them because, in her heart, she knew there were others someday who would see all of her & know the fire & light & smell of rain & cherry would bring the sound of sunlight to places in them they never would have noticed without her being there with them in the world.

• wood species will vary according to what we have on hand
• each piece is cut, sanded, & painted here in the studio with our unique bird & brush process: the final piece has 6-8 layers of paint, ink, & graphite (including a secret handwritten wish between the layers) - making each unique
• studio chop on the back of the piece, for authenticity
• natural grain on the sides and back exposed to show the raw wood
