perspectives: leading question storyblock

One of the new perspectives from our bird & brush perspective collaborations, small-scale landscape paintings on reclaimed hardwood. Because whether it's romantic love, or Love for the whole world, it. never. runs. on. our. schedule. :-)

I have never yet seen Love ask if this is a convenient time.

  • hardwood block species will vary.  currently we have available oak, elm, ash & hickory
  • average dimensions: 4.5" W x 5" H x 7/8" D
  • each block is shaped & painted here in the studio with our unique bird & brush process:  the final piece has eight layers - hand-sanded gesso, gouache acrylic paint, a secret hand written wish, & only one layer is a UV ink print we use as a guide - making each piece an original in its own right.
  • story on the front, with our bird & brush studio signature on the back
  • natural grain on the sides & back exposed to show the story of wood
  • comes in an organic cotton bag with the Flying Edna logo & a card describing the wood species and origin

The story & art is by Brian Andreas, created on June 03, 2020. Read More
