Crow tilted her head & looked at the girl for a moment. Can you fly? Crow said. That is a very good question, the girl said. I've often imagined how flying feels & once in a dream, I actually flew. Though not far off the ground in case I woke up suddenly. Because, she added, I do not like to fall. I'll take that as a no, Crow said. At this exact moment, I suppose not, she said & then she laughed. Though I am a very quick learner. We shall see about that, Crow said.
