2025 bird & brush desk calendar

A calendar to gently inspire & bring you back into balance with your own wild nature...

We went round and round and then round again a few more times and ended up back with our more "traditional" bird & brush backgrounds for the 2025 desk calendar. As with all our bird & brush creations, all of these backgrounds were first painted by hand on reclaimed wood - on this group, there are at least 8 layers of paint on each of the original blocks, which serve as the backgrounds for each month.

You can display these in our reclaimed wood holder or use the rose-gold clip or in a way that is unique for your space - choose your preference below.

As with last year, if you buy any two calendars (mix & match of any style), you'll save $2.50 on each.

    how we make these...

The wood for our card holders is sourced from local small businesses dedicated to repurposing razed buildings, trees that are diseased, or taken down due to storms.

This means each piece carries along its own history. We purposely do not fill in the bug holes or hide the knots & scarring. We do address the checks (the splits & cracks) that have appeared over time due to weather changes & stresses in the wood.

These holders are purposely & perfectly imperfect.

Cut by a Canadian-American artist & craftsman who lives nearby, Steve Pearson (also the former head of two nationally recognized MFA actor training programs), Fia then shapes & waxes the holders, & it's Kai's art that is on the cards.

Every card holder comes with a tag describing the origins of the pieces inside, attached by a raw silk ribbon to an organic cotton bag.
