our newest collaboration: from babies with love

From Babies With Love is a wonderful group of people in the UK up to A Very Big Thing in our world. 

It made us laugh & dance & spin around ( & a certain dog took it as an opportunity to bark quite loudly...) when we read this from their purpose statement:

...at From Babies with Love, we do things differently. Every penny of profit from our unique, ethically sourced designs goes to orphaned and abandoned children around the world...

After we read that, we jumped right into the studio & made a stack of stories & art, so they'd have something to work with. As is always the case with commissions, there were some stories & illustrations they couldn't use. So, we decided to release these here at Flying Edna. You can see all of it down below... 

Because you can never have too many stories that remind us & all of the children of the world that we're glad they're here...

a quick side note... We absolutely must say is how beautiful & soft this material is... Cecelia was across the waters in September, & she met with us here at the studio to show us in person these little pieces... seriously... it's ridiculous how lovely this material is... Not just for our collection, but for all the collections they offer...
