original watercolor: 'presence of mind'
Original pen & ink & watercolor master. This is one of the first twenty stories I wrote atr the start of this whole adventure. (You can tell from the limited color palette of the German inks I had at the time.)
It's included in the book 'mostly true'. The pen & ink image is what's used in the black & white book.
Most of the stuff I say is true because I saw it in a dream & I don't have the presence of mind to make up lies when I'm asleep.
- 8.5 x 11 pen & ink & German watercolor inks on bristol board
- some whiteout in upper right & some whiteout tape in bottom right to cover marks from the use of this original as a production master
- Signed, titled & dated 1993 on bottom in ink
