night light art print

I used to walk sometimes through the fields on winter nights with my father/grandfather.
Often we'd stop on the ridge where you couldn't see the light from any other houses. We'd stand there quietly together in the snow & starlight.
Every night has its own kind of light, he said one time. You just have to be quiet enough to see it.
& it wasn't until much later that I understood how many dark nights he'd walked alone to give me that kind of light to see by.
